Financial Center’s AVP of Community Relations & Outreach, Marco Dominguez, was honored with the Civil Rights Champion award presented by the Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Indiana Holiday Commission (MLKIHC).
Dominguez was recognized for his personal and professional impact on equality and equal justices in the community during the 31st Annual MLKIHC Celebration that took place on Thursday, January 13, 2022. The celebration included an address from Governor of Indiana, Eric J. Holcomb, honoring Dr. King’s legacy.
“Marco amazes me with all that he does,” stated James Davidson, AVP of Financial Literacy. “He is a dedicated leader, devoted friend, and kindhearted individual who has been a powerful voice in representing the Credit Union.”
Dominguez has been with Financial Center for over 12 years and is deeply immersed in the community’s wellbeing. He sits on several organizational boards and maintains relationships with a multitude of community leaders. Dominguez’ vision is to strengthen equal access to community resources especially in financial services.
