Wells holds 17 years of experience in the financial industry and most recently served as the Senior Vice President in Central Indiana for Huntington National Bank. “I am thrilled to be part of Financial Center and look forward to joining the credit union movement of people helping people,” said Wells.
Wells’ experience includes the founding of a Hispanic Business Resource Group that unifies the Hispanic workforce through purpose-driven activities and enhanced programs to better support Hispanic consumers. He also previously served as a senior-level coach who implemented coaching methodologies focused on supporting leadership skill-building.
Wells graduated from the CBA Executive Banking School, an immersive program focused on finance, risk, and strategic leadership. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University.
As a Zionsville resident, Wells supports local teachers through the Zionsville Education Foundation. He also volunteers for VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, a program that offers free tax preparation services to individuals and families with household incomes at or below $57,000, persons with disabilities, and those who are older than 60 years old.
“We are so excited to have Billy on the team,” said Frances Tooley, Financial Center Chief Development Officer. “His skill set will be fundamental as we strive in making daily positive impacts in the lives of our members, communities, and staff.”
